We know it is just as important for you to feel confident during your treatment. That’s why we have switched to Damon Clear braces for our ceramic brace treatments.
Unlike most ceramic brace systems Damon Clear use a sliding mechanism to hold the wire in place. This means no need for elastic ties.
These elastic ties would become stained overtime meaning the ceramic brace does not look as discreet. However, this is not the case with Damon Clear. This also means that they are easier to keep clean. Elastic ties are known to collect plaque, therefore harbouring bacteria.
Damon Clears’ ‘sliding door’ mechanism to connect archwires to the bracket means the wire moves more freely. This low-friction nature of the system means that, in most cases, Damon systems have been proven to move teeth much quicker than most conventional braces, meaning less time in the dental chair to achieve your dream smile.
Damon braces are effective in:
- Achieving a broad, natural looking smile – a broad dental arch not only provides a beautiful smile but can also aid in facial support. This helps convey a more youthful appearance.
