Check-ups

We advise all our patients to visit us on a regular basis. Routine dentistry can prevent issues from developing as well as provide helpful advice for teeth cleaning at home.

Regular check-ups will help us keep an eye on your oral health and spot potential problems early. We will be looking for signs of decay, infection, oral cancer and a misaligned bite. If we find anything that requires treatment, we will advise the best course of action and put together a treatment plan, including expected costs.

What happens at a routine visit?

• We will examine and assess your teeth, gums and mouth.
• We will ask if you’ve had any problems since your last visit.
• We will advise you on the best cleaning techniques.
• We will share tips on diet, alcohol and tobacco consumption.

We may not need to see you every six months, but your dentist will let you know when you need to come back for your next check-up.
