Thinking about straightening your teeth? At Clarendon Dental and Orthodontic Practice, we offer orthodontic consultations with a specialist, so you are in expert care right from the start of your teeth straightening journey.
During your orthodontic consultation, you can expect the following:
- Discuss your needs and what you would like to achieve with an experienced specialist orthodontist
- Each consultation is an hour long, so there is plenty of time for all your questions to be answered
- Your specialist will show the different appliances available including Invisalign braces and WIN lingual (fully hidden behind your teeth). They will discuss which treatment will be most beneficial for you.
- Using our state-of-the-art iTero scanners, we will scan your teeth to produce an outcome simulation of the orthodontic treatment. No impressions needed here!
- We will take photos to document your starting point
- Your individual treatment plan will be explained carefully so you know exactly what to expect.
- The estimate of the costs of your treatment will be fully outlined and the finance options available will be explained
- If you are also interested in cosmetic work, then this will be discussed and if needed referred to one of our in-house cosmetic dentists.

We offer several ways to straighten teeth and our Specialist Orthodontist, Dr Skjalg Johnsen, will help you understand which may suit your teeth, bite and preferences.
Invisalign Clear Aligners are removable, discreet aligners custom-made to move teeth gradually.
Damon Metal Braces, including more discreet options, such as Damon Clear Braces
Lingual Braces, fixed to the inside surface of the teeth, keeping them less visible when you smile
Retainers help maintain your result after active treatment. We offer fixed and removable types.
We also provide orthodontic options for children and teenagers. You do not need to choose a treatment before booking, your specialist will explain the suitable options following your individual assessment.
